In an effort to reduce our ecological footprint, we have managed, after 8 years of research, to remove palm oil from all our soaps. This major environmental challenge is now embodied by a new formulation including a very special oil, oleic sunflower oil, which completely replaces palm oil.
For washing clothes:
For difficult stains: rub the stain with the Marseille soap cube before washing. Machine wash. Ideal for grease stains, difficult stains and shirt collars.
For hand washing clothes: gently washes all textiles, especially delicate items (baby clothes, wool, silk, lace, etc.). Wet your clothes. Clean them with Marseille soap. Lather them up. Rinse with clean water.
For washing hands
Can also be used for washing the face and body.
Composition
100% vegetable oils (Oleic sunflower oil, copra oil)
No coloring, no perfume, no preservative
No chemical additives
No palm oil
Soap 30% and more (Sodium Sunflowerseedate, Sodium Cocoate)
Also contains: Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide
The glycerin contained in our Marseille soaps is not added, it is the one naturally contained in the vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny part remains. Authentic Marseille soap, made using the traditional process, is in fact a non-glycerin soap.
The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients of our soaps, because traces of it remain. The new cosmetic regulations require that all ingredients, even trace amounts, be indicated in the list of ingredients.
