Aloe Arborescens

Coming from the Aloe genus native to southern Africa, aloe arborescens is a succulent shrub with evergreen foliage. It flowers in winter in the northern hemisphere, while it waits until June to open its flowers in the southern hemisphere. Thus, its epithet arborescens means “which has the appearance of a tree”, and differentiates it from the famous Aloe vera. The arborescens variety is, however, much more concentrated in active ingredients, notably Acemanann, with soothing properties particularly recommended for reactive skin. However, the growth of arborescens is much slower than that of aloe vera. Cultivated in a mechanized way to meet the growing needs of the industry.
