Organic Macadamia vegetable oil is very nourishing and softening. It is the one that penetrates the skin barrier most quickly. It is therefore particularly suitable for “transporting” essential oils in the body. Macadamia is a botanical genus. The genus includes nine species including the Queensland walnut which produces macadamia nuts. The genus is named after John Macadam, who was a colleague of the botanist Ferdinand von Mueller, who first described this genus.
